DD is a very responsible just-7, pondering how old she has to be before we teach her the alarm code so she can go downstairs without us in the morning. Would welcome others’ experiences!

As long as it isn’t one that is linked to a monitoring system where someone is alerted if it goes off then I would do it now, the worst that can happen is she will take you all up setting it off accidentally
