Boring thread alert - need help finding a Tetris replacement

I play Tetris on the phone, I find it relaxing/meditative and it helps me get some sleep (I have a LOT of trouble sleeping) but EA have notifications that it will cease come April - i don't know if that's just them losing the license and someone else will own it or what's happening, I'd appreciate info on that too.

But mainly can you please recommend a Tetris-alike game? I've tried in vain to find one they just aren't quite the same level of easiness to play when tired or grids are too big or not responsive enough etc

I'd be so grateful if you guys can help.

Have you tried Two Dots? Very addictive!

tweedler · 25/01/2020 13:06

I am in your exact position. I was so upset last night! It's the only game I like to play

Another for 2 dots, I've also recently downloaded nonogram which is oddly addictive too.

KenAdams · 25/01/2020 13:23

Nonogram, Candy Crush (Friends and Soda are my favourite) and Roller Splat.

1010 is good.

I play Tetris on my Nintendo DS. You can get them 2nd hand. Or you mean something for your phone.

Graphista · 25/01/2020 19:10

Thanks guys I mean for phone.

I'm hoping as I said for something very like Tetris but I shall try 2 dots maybe

I'm really addicted to Drag and Merge at the moment

there are LOADS of tetris type games though. if you go to the play store and search for tetris obviously the main results will be actual tetris and then you will get all the knock off imitations that use similar principles.
