What blusher do you use?

I probably spend less that 30 quid a year on make up as I wear very little, but I do like a bit of blusher on my pale cheeks. I recently bought a solid powder one (Rimmel, so only a cheapie) but it has gone very quickly because every time you put the brush over it, clouds of the powder fall to the floor. My bathroom floor was pink! I bought a different make (another cheap one from Tesco) and had exactly the same problem. It's not a problem I've had before with blusher powder. I have now bought some creamy rub on ones, but prefer the powder. Can anyone recommend a really good blusher that stays on the brush and is in a decent size container (powder compact size)? I don't mind spending a bit more for something that won't end up all over the floor.

No7, think it's called Apricot Blossom

Oh, thanks for the tips. I'll have a closer look at my brush!

Bourjois is now discounted in the UK, unfortunately.
I have NARS orgasm powder blush, but find it a little orange on me.
Same with No7 apricot blossom.
Think I’ll give Benefit Dandelion a go.

Discontinued not discounted

Nars orgasm here too. It's the best!

dayswithaY · 24/01/2020 16:46

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick - it lasts forever so it's money well spent.

lorettalemon · 24/01/2020 16:54

I find the nars ones last years. I find Orgasm far too bright because I'm pale but I use madly (more beige) and torrid (more dirty pink)

namechangenumber2 · 24/01/2020 16:58

I like the Bourjois ones, they smell nice too!

I am on the hunt for a different, cream one though

TheJoxter · 24/01/2020 16:58

I like the lily lolo loose powder blush

Rosere · 24/01/2020 17:04

I have a benefit one. Its in a pink box, but I can't see it online. I highly suspect it has been discontinued I've had it that long, but all their blushers look great. The brush that comes with it is great too.

Mars orgasm is amazing but the packaging is pants x

mumme111 · 24/01/2020 17:06

Meant to say Nars lol x

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 24/01/2020 17:07

I really like the Benefit Benetint- it's a liquid one in a bottle, so no waste.

camsie · 24/01/2020 17:10

Benefit Hoola.

bookish83 · 24/01/2020 17:27

Nars orgasm. Or whichever nars shade suits you best. Lasts ages too as you don't need a lot!

Cream blushers I find come off easily and don't always suit dry skin or dry patches. I always like the idea more than the reality!

GarethSouthgatesWaistcoat · 24/01/2020 18:34

Whatevah Bourjois seems to be available on Boots website or am I going mad?

bourjois

HaHaVeryBunny · 24/01/2020 18:39

@GarethSouthgatesWaiscoat they are discontinuing Bourjois from June in the UK and Ireland.

GarethSouthgatesWaistcoat · 24/01/2020 18:42

Oh no! I don't really wear much make up atm and hadn't realised. Shame!!

carrie74 · 24/01/2020 18:53

I use a Stila cream blush and a Clinique powder, both VERY long lasting.

I didn't like Nars Orgasm, too peachy for my cool toned skin. I had an amazing cream blusher from MAC years ago, but it was discontinued, and I couldn't find a colour that worked as a replacement. the Stila and Clinique were on advice of a makeup artist.

wheresmymojo · 24/01/2020 18:57

Bobbi Brown Peony is lovely!

Jarstastic · 24/01/2020 19:06

Chantecaille. Or a more budget friendly is Rosie make up at Marks and Spencer.

Violetroselily · 24/01/2020 20:19

Benefit blushes are my favourite, particularly Rockateur, Gold Rush and Coralista.

TattiePants · 24/01/2020 20:32

I started using Chantecaille Gel blusher last year and it is amazing, very expensive but amazing.

wavesfromtheback · 24/01/2020 20:43

Boots No 7 blush in damson mist is lovely, very natural and no shimmer or sparkle which I hate in a blusher!

There's also a peach colour but can't remember what it's called. They last me ages

WellTidy · 24/01/2020 20:44

Benefit Dallas (for pink days) and Benefit Coralista (for coral days).
