Help, sore throat and job interview

Geneshish · 24/01/2020 08:22

I have a very croaky voice and cough today but have a job interview later.

Anyone have any recommendations of what I could take or do to get me through a presentation and chat with the panel? I have to talk for 10 mins straight which my voice cannot currently do

You can buy numbing sprays in any chemist that work really well to keep that raw feeling away.
Suck sweets to keep your throat lubricated.
Keep talking or singing to yourself this morning to keep everything moving.

They won't be bothered about a bit of croakiness. Good luck!

Difflam spray from pharmacy! Really effective.

Vocal zone lozenges.

Good luck. Flowers

Depending on how formal the vibe is, you could always just say a quick 'do excuse my croaky voice!' after the intros.
Take some water in too and do use it.

I dose up with Streffen when I have a sore throat.

Explain to the panel that your throat is bad and good luck!

Difflam spray, paracetamol and ibuprofen and explain in the interview that you've got a croaky throat

I had an interview a while ago with whooping cough, it was all I could do to not cough and vomit lol 😆 (whixh I did in the car park after the interview 😳)
