Why is toast always nicer and hotter when somebody else has made it ?

It really isn’t. I hover over the toaster ready to swoop as soon at the toast pops up. I have the perfect ratio of salted butter to toast. I eat it immediately.

It causes me deep sadness* that I have never found anyone able to make toast as well as I do, but I will put up with it for the sake of a lie in.

*This sentence may contain some exaggeration.

so true! i only ever eat toast when my mum makes it ‘cause it never tastes as good when i do it myself.

But no one can beat my dads cheese on toast! I never make it for myself at home now and only have it at his!

My Granny made the best tea from a pot that had not been rinsed for about 40 years.
