Renewing a tenancy

Hi,
Not sure if I'm writing in the right place... But does anyone know if estate agents are allowed to charge to renew the contract on the property now?

Did the laws change?

We've been tenants for 2.5 years now and had to pay 80 quid everytime we renewed.
Ours in up beginning of March, and we've asked to go rolling monthly, which has been agreed, just wondering if were likely to be hit with an admin fee for signing a few bits of paper again?

As you're on an existing tenancy agreement with fees written into it, you'll have to pay to renew before 31.05.20. After that you won't.

Go onto rolling, then renew in June if you want to.
