Do I go on this date?

Before xmas I met a man online. 3 dates. All amazing. Both seemed smitten then he text to say he was meeting his ex and it was a kind of date. I blew my top deleted contact. Moved on.
He rang me last night. (Prob been dumped by the ex) apologising. Stating he shouldnt have gone back but history Christmas etc and can we meet for a drink.
I still feel pissed off but I do have feelings.

No way. Not least because you 'blew your top' which would make it likely that he would sneak around next time. It's all just too messy.

I'm not going. Thanks everyone. It's too complicated and too messy. If it's like this now at such an early stage what the hell could it be like if we carry on. Too stressful x
