Lying on my bed eating Krave ftom the box.

My new thing is to treat my days off like actual days off. Been knackered latetly and doing 70 weeks.

But now my shifts have calmed down and I'm making a point of relaxing.

WFH but getting rudely interrupted by video calls from one of my clients when I'm trying to read MN!

Should be teaching. Am sitting in bed with a poorly 3 year old with a sicky tummy.

On mumsnet whilst enjoying some sandwiches I have pinched from a lunch delivered for some visiting clients - perks of the job 😁

Also paid some online bills & been surfing the net.

I should be working processing orders.

I am working from home and I should be doing invoice queries but it's hurting my head so I am having a break and watching some parking wars on telly eating salted caramel ice cream.

I'm on the second bus on my way to get my nails done (the joys of living in the middle of nowhere and not driving), listening to Spotify and on here.

I should be doing something at home with DS, but these nail appointments every two weeks are my one break (as a single parent who doesn't work, I'm ALWAYS with DS), so he's with my sister and playing there.

Got a tidbit of mum guilt but feel wonderfully calm.

I should be washing up, getting the laundry on, popping out to lidl for a couple of things and emailing dd's dietician.

I should be at work but I'm late for work because my eyes are sore. I need coffee and to go home but I can't because I'm a grown up

Finishing a cup of tea and browsing MN. Should be putting some make up on as need to leave to get DD in a minute, then going to my parents house to see them & my nan. Maybe they will just have to take me as I come and I can use early pregnancy knackeredness as an excuse!

Still in bed with a shitty cold listening to dh yell at ds because his French Toast (refuses you call it by it's real name - eggy bread ) is getting cold. (Still early here.)

Will get up in a bit as I have a ton of interviews and emails to do for a contentious newspaper article which I'm a bit worried about and HAVE to get right or my arse is on the line.

It’s 11:20pm here, I should be sleeping as I have an early hospital appointment in the morning.

Instead I’m in bed texting DD13 who’s sleeping at Grandmas house. She’s scared because we’ve just had a bloody mini cyclone rip through and they’ve lost power

Ours is still on thank goodness because it’s still stinking hot and we have the air con running.

Sitting on the sofa with DDog3, drinking tea and dicking about on MN.

I should be walking the dogs, doing a food shop, cleaning the house, ironing etc. but my motivation is uncharacteristically low

I should be studying. Second degree, exams are totally on. I had one today (aced it) and the next one is Tuesday. I managed about 2 hours of study but then I got bored and now I'm running myself a bath and I'm done for the day. I might start a new book (completely not uni related). Not even feeling guilty

I'm watching the Chase and messing about on my phone

Should be making dinner for DS who will be here from nursery in half an hour

Coffee and cake in John Lewis.... should be dieting
