Crappiest night’s sleep in a long time

So, dead tired I went to bed at 9.30.

Tossed and turned a bit so took a Nytol.

Fidgeted and turned a bit more then remembered I had a Diet Coke late afternoon - argh, no wonder I couldn’t sleep, it has this effect on me.

Finally fell asleep but woke at 2am desperate to pee - another side effect and the reason I don’t drink Diet Coke from one year to the next.

Back to sleep, and woken by what I am convinced is a faulty smoke alarm. Rouse hubby, noise stops. This repeats for three times before I realise it is some weird snoring noise he is making - like he’d swallowed a robot and it was beeping to get out.

Approx 5am, woken by DH shouting in his sleep.

6am. Alarm goes off for work.

Argh

I can sympathise.
Went to bed just after 12, tossed and turned then woke at about 1.30 then 2.30 then 3.30, then 4.30 to DH stomping about.
Have tossed and turned since then and got up just before 7 with DS declaring he needed a poo. 🙄
Today will be long, and I'm already tired.

Oh @iamabox that sounds tough - please tell me your DS is still a child though haha.

Haha, yes he is only just turned 6, and likes to let us know about every toilet trip! (He is autistic and struggles on the toilet, so still needs help. )
