Anyone know about cameras/videos?

I'm trying to find something like a GoPro that you can switch off the thing that makes it not show any wobbles (hope that makes sense). I need it to be attached to the arm of my wheelchair (or possibly the headrest) to take video showing how what life is like around town in a wheelchair.

Any help gratefully received.

Image Stabilisation is the thing you want to not be there. Modern gopro's are all full of IS, can't turn it off, as they're sports oriented. Unfortunately I know little about cheap and nasty cameras!

But.... most phones under £300 or older than a couple of years won't do image stabilisation for movie recording. Could you get a grippy mount or velcro strap arrangement and just use a phone to record the daily journey?

If you film without image stabilisation on, the footage will be unwatchable.

Seriously unwatchable.

Especially if fixed to a mount on a wheelchair.

lilmisstoldyouso I'm guessing that's the point. The OP is trying to show how awful it is in a wheelchair.

I would agree that strapping a mobile phone to the wheelchair is probably the best option.

Cheers folks, I hadn't thought about an old phone thanks for the idea. I'll go do some research.

@LemonBreeland you've got it in one.
