Terry Jones has died

And I'm sad. The Pythons were such a big feature of my teens, and he was such a funny man.

Very sad news. And for him to have suffered from that bastard disease that robs you of you, your personality, your ability to communicate & create.
I'll be watching the 'The Life of Brian' later on.

Am watching Life Of Brian right now! Brian’s Mum is one of my favourite comic characters.

Really saddened by this. My favourite Python. I loved Do Not Adjust Your Set as a kid and everything after. ripping Yarns was such a joy.

What a horrible way to die too.

RIP and thoughts for his family.

I met him about six or seven years ago- he was walking his dog and we briefly exchanged pleasantries. Remembering this makes me sad that his illness prevented him from this simple pleasure during his last couple of years.

I really enjoyed his Medieval Lives series.

Life of Brian was brilliant. That on its own is a hell of an achievement for anyone's lifetime.

Loved Terry Jones.

I heard John Cleese on the radio earlier who said that he'd directed the most perfect comedy film in Life of Brian. He used to marvel at how Jones used to think he could take anything on and it never occurred to him that he couldn't do it (he always did it well)....but Cleese admired his confidence.
They asked him how he would remember Terry Jones and he said

"I will remember him exploding"
