Boss' dog at work

Boss has a very sweet medium sized dog that he often brings to work.

It stays with her in her office and is generally well behaved but does like to investigate people and will jump up a bit.

I'm not a dog person. I don't hate them but they're not something that's ever been part of my life and I'm not used to it.

Is it very unreasonable not to want a dog pawing at me and slobbering over my (dry clean) work suits when I'm in his office?

ElderAve I could have written this!!!! Exact same problem!!! I like dogs but like you I don't like dirty feet on me or dog slobber.
However if we were talking about a horse (obviously not in an office) then what's not to like??

I absolutely love dogs. My dogs are my babies and I would love to have a dog at work but YANBU. Although I'm a crazy dgo owner, I realise other people don't feel the same way as me. If your boss brings his dog to work, he should at least stop it from jumping up at people.

What? I like dogs but I wouldn't apply as I am allergic to them!

My DD's friend has just got a new puppy and we used to go around quite a bit after school but one of my eyes inflates and it stays that way for a long time after we have left. It is cute but it's always biting and it hurts. Equally, I really don't want my work clothes ruined by it's teeth making holes in them so I don't think YABU.
