Little things

My brother brought me flowers today. No reason for it just simply said because I deserve them ☺️. It was such a sweet gesture and it really is the little things that make you smile.

What other little things have people done that have made you smile and cheer you up? ☺️

That’s so lovely. Someone from where I used to live (over 20 miles away) contacted me after she heard my dog had died came over and took me out for a really lovely lunch! She never mentioned my dog because she just guessed it would be too upsetting. I’ll never forget her kindness. I really must always be more like her and just do it for someone else. You know when you never know what to do? The thing that touched me the most was that we were not particularly friends. She is retired and does have lots of friends and a new partner and goes away a lot too. So it was a pure act of kindness and empathy
