Recommendations for a mascara that doesn't flake please.

My usual mascara (Max Factor Masterpiece) has recently lost its staying power and within an hour of application it's flaking off under my eyes.

Can anyone recommend a non-flaking mascara, ideally for under £10? I wear contact lenses on occasion if that makes any difference. Thanks.

I swear by Maybelline Classic Volume Express. I always brush through my mascara and this is virtually the only mascara I've found, cheap or expensive, that does not flake during the brushing or at any point after.

I've tried loads of different fancy brand mascaras but this one is still the best for avoiding flaking and smudging and it only costs around five quid.

And I wear contact lenses too!

I too struggled with this, Tarte lights camera lashes is perfect or Blinc tubing mascara never ever crumbles or flakes.

Apologies I didn't notice the under £10 part. There is a mini of the Tarte mascara which will be about £10 might be worth a try.

Definitely not Barry M mascara. I bought two types of that brand and it’s really crap.

Benefit (might be called bad gal) is the best I’ve used for not flaming but the tube doesn’t seem to last long and it’s expensive for what it is

Maybelline Lash Sensational, but the waterproof one. It's amazing.

My daughter has used several makes including benefit and swears by it too.
It is the one in the silver packaging called wonderlash

I got a Ted Baker mascara in a gift set - I've never had a good one like it. Doesn't budge at all!! Can't go wrong with Lancôme either
