Inspired by a book I am reading about six friends having a weekend away and planning a playlist for the journey to remind them of their school days.

Primary school - Oliver’s Army.

Secondary school - Tainted Love.

First slow dance was Leo Sayer “When I neeeeeed you.”

I remember dancing to KLF Moo Moo Land at the Sunday School disco. Also that song that went 'you're listening to the boys from the bug bad city, this is Jam Hot'
At secondary I remember dancing to
'Got the Key, Got the Secret' Urban Cookie Collective also
'Boom boom shake the Room'

Primary school 'agadoooo' and also total eclipse of the heart.
Secondary we didnt have a disco until prom yr11 and that was The Thong Song 🙄

Secondary I don't remember. I only remember the cool girls spending 90% of the Disco in the toilets hairspraying their quiffs.

I was dancing to Midnight Oil's 'Beds are Burning' and Tiffany's 'I Think We're Alone Now'.

I think I might make a playlist of my own - everything from my old Soft Metal cassette plus more

The fast songs I remember are 'Come on Eileen' and 'Jump' by Van Halen. We'd all leap into the air for the "Jump" bit.

The slow one I remember is 'I wanna know what love is' by Foreigner.

They don't make 'em like they used to!

First disco I went to aged 11;

Dancing to Prince Charming and doing the dance as per the video

Then jumping off tables to ‘Fame’

First slow dance was to ‘Careless Whisper’

I remember Yaz the only way is up, at primary school and people jumping off chairs...
Also Kylie’s locomotive and ‘aga do do doo’

First slow dance was Anything For You by Gloria Estefan.

I also remember when I was little dancing to Spirit in the Sky.
