Does anyone use an iPad for professional/postgrad studies?
What apps do you u recommended for general notetaking, revision, recording lectures making flash cards or anything else useful?
Is there anything else you use for the iPad for in your studies that I might not think about having done my degree 20 years ago with an A4 notebook and 4 colour biro

I'm doing my masters and to be honest I mainly use an A4 pad and coloured biros!! This is partly because I get distracted by too much technology and partly because making written notes helps me cement my learning. My uni gave us some things to use like the Blackboard app, outlook etc but I don't really use anything else.

a4 and coloured pens here too!

My iPad gets used a lot for quickly checking definitions and double-checking things but I don’t use any special apps.

To be fair, most of your journals, textbooks etc will be available online, so it will be handy for reading from rather than having to always lug the laptop out. Also if you get a little keyboard with it I have seen some people in lectures who have the presentation up on screen and just annotate that rather than making notes on paper. I'm sure you'll find a use for it! ;)
