Getting & being pregnant on ADHD meds

Taking Concerta 54mg/daily for ADHD but desperately want to start a family. Local NHS aren’t funded to support coming off of them and have to wait years for referral out of area.
Just wondered if anyone else has continued taking meds whilst trying to conceive or throughout pregnancy? Or knows where I can get further support from. Thank you x

How long have you been taking them? I stopped mine over Christmas (so I could eat and drink!) without any issues other than a sleepy couple of days.

Also, what does your prescribing doctor say? It can’t be a brans new situation and they must be used to dealing with it

Been on them for about 5 years now. Without it I probably wouldn’t be able to get out of bed and definitely wouldn’t cope at home or work without.
I was prescribed by a doctor out of area and my GP admittedly knows little about it. He’s re-referred me but is apprehensive to advise me because there’s never been any real research, other than on rats.
