How to avoid runners face?

I’ve been running for a little while now, only 5k but it makes me feel happy and satisfied.
My question is, am I likely to get runners face from running this amount? Or do you get it when you run longer distances? Is there anything I can do to avoid it??

Never mind runners face, what about runners tits . Mine disappeared and became like spaniels ears. I thought it was just me but when I got naked in front of new man a couple of years ago he ( fellow runner) he informed me that all long distance runners get boobs like this 😞

Just happens when you lose body fat, Pippi, I've lost weight before through diet and my boobs reduced in size like that. Then over the years put on and they got bigger but so did the rest of me. I've lost it again and my bust is smaller again but it doesn't bother me. I've only got one now anyway as I've had breast cancer. I've read that excess body fat is linked to cancer so it's a comfort really to see some fat go. I run everyday and I feel fantastic for it! I'm proud of my runner's face!

IME, and from what I've seen, people whose faces go to pot after a few years of extensive running (especially long distance running,) or cycling, weren't that great looking to begin with.

I know a dozen people who are heavily into running and cycling. Half a dozen long distance runners (who do half marathons and 10 km races quite frequently.) And also half a dozen cyclists.

They are 6 women and 6 men.

9 of the dozen people are attractive/ pretty/ handsome and always have been. Even after 15-20 years of being runners/cyclists their looks/face has not been harmed at all.

The other 3 though, not so much. They were not great looking to begin with, and seem worse after all the years of running/cycling.

Remember Madonna’s “face bra” when she went through that intense running spell ? They really caught on for a while. This is serious as a lot of aesthetic surgeons warn against too much running as it loosens the muscles in the face striking your body up and down like that. Running on sand/ earth said to be better than tarmac. I am menopausal now and am taking up running g more regularly as it really is the only thing that burns the fat in your legs and midriff once you hit this age, in a way that exercising at the gym can’t IMO.
