Hello!
I am going to Benidorm with DP to celebrate his 40th birthday next week and am hoping someone can give me some help or recommendations!

I've booked us in a hotel for bed and breakfast, and am happy to wander and find dinners for most of the nights but would like to treat him to dinner somewhere nice on his actual birthday!

So any help with good food places, good activities to do, anywhere we can play pool..

And any other recommendations really!

Thanks!

There's a Facebook page called Benidorm seriously that is brilliant to answer your questions.

It depends on what you like doing as there is something for everyone and whether you are in the new town or the old

As above - the Benidorm seriously page is really good.

Tapas Alley in the old town is lovely for a special meal. Lots of little tapas places and lovely romantic feel to it on an evening.

If you are a steak fan then country ribs is really good although I have a feeling it closes over winter. Steak house la brasa is also in the new town and very very good.

Definitely the old town for good restaurants

A lot of laces are closed now till March 1 when season starts
We went this time four years ago... for some winter sun... big mistake nowhere near warm enough
If you haven’t been before a sun trap is the little beach between the poniente and levante
It’s well protected from the wind
There was a nice Spanish restaurant on the levanter side that was open just up from the beach but can i heck remember the name

I haven't been but my parents like the Benidorm palace for a night out? Others might be able to confirm...

Dowser · 19/01/2020 17:11

Years ago... like 40
Found it a bit naff to be honest but it might be better now

sazzle27 · 19/01/2020 22:15

To be honest it is for a bit of a laugh, not a serious romantic holiday or anything, so no fear on that front!

Will definitely check out the facebook page though

Any recommendations on how much money to change up? We are there for 4 nights, so 4 evening meals, drinks, lunches etc
