Yesterday I was stopped by so many people who wanted to pay me compliments, mostly on my coat, which was nice but they didn't offer me any food!

Can you guess how old I am? I had a big birthday not so long ago!

No idea about your age.

I passed two red setters in the street a few years back. I was with my young son at the time so I said to him aww look how gorgeous. As soon as I said that they both perked up and started wagging their tails. I wasn't even that close to them but they were clearly so used to compliments that they immediately responded

• my hobbies include shredding boxes, visiting castles and stately homes, I love staring at squirrels and cats, my favourite food is fish and chips (I once stole some), my favourite place to go on holiday is the Alps and I know when people say the letters "f o o d" they mean exactly the same thing as "food"
