I have name changed for this as it is obviously very outing! I am in possession of a very thick skin and will check back in with the correct answer a little later I promise! So, how old do you think I am?

You've put a beauty filter on (although much more subtle than the other woman with the ridiculous teenage cartoons) so you're just going to delude yourself with the answers.

Because of the filter, I'd guess older than I would have otherwise so I'd say 50ish.
From the second photo, which is a less 'vain' one, I'd say 45.

It's showing as rattails - I think Worra thought TheMostHappy was you revealing your age, but is in fact another poster saying she thinks you are the same age as her.

Why do you need the opinion of strangers? It's incredibly hard to tell someone's age from a photograph.

In my experience, when people ask 'how old do you think I am?' in real life, others will always err on the side of caution and subtract a decade or so from what they really think. I hate being put on the spot like that. Go on, how old do you think I am? So I, along with others, lie through my teeth and tell someone who is quite obviously in their 50s, that they barely look 40.

Then that 50 something person will come onto Mumsnet and happily tell posters here that everyone at work thinks they are 15 years younger than they are, unaware that actually they look their age, if not a tad older.

You could be any age from 25 - 45 to be fair.

I keep my dating profile photographs as realistic as possible and definitely not the most flattering I have. I would hate to meet someone and for their first thought to be "she takes a good photograph".

Im early 30s and you definitely look older than myself and my friendship group. I’d guess around 40-45.

I have seen a few of these posts and it made me wonder how I was doing as am noticeably ageing, starting to lose hair, teeth etc! and seeing as there's been a few of these the last couple of days thought I'd chuck myself in the mix.
With regard to online dating, I would always post a range of pictures, but obviously you put your better one's on there which I think the first one is.
Glad the name change worked as well, no worries worra is good to double check as I have quite a lot of posts under my proper name, some quite personal.
Anyway....drumroll..... I'm 42
