Am about to book a hotel for x3 nights.
It's cheaper to book with Expedia / hotels.com than via the hotel itself.
Is one better than the other - ie Expedia vs hotels.com, or are they much of a muchness? (A booking with both has the terms - eg cancellable until the day before).
Just have some recollection of horror stories booked through one of the booking agencies - ie when something goes wrong, you're on your own
