I'm drinking tea, listening to the radio and MM-ing.

Dd2 is sock on after going to bed at the same time as me.

It's lovely but I actually do need to move and get stuff done.

Just dp and I here and we're just lounging in bed. He's reading The Observer and I'm on here. We're going to get up and go for a walk/coffee soon.

Trying to convince myself to Starr painting the nursery! Eek!

DP and DD (17) still in bed. DS6 and I have had bacon butties. Im watching Fake or Fortune drinking coffee and MM-ing, whilst DS is cutting,sticking drawing. I dont know what hes doing but ive got sellotape on my pj legs and ive been asked to cut out green spots and a green plant with a nose.

I’m on the sofa with a blanket and ds1 cuddling me(very unusual these days!), the younger two are playing with Lego on the floor.

Dd9 is not feeling well after having the flu inhaler at school on Friday. Ds 21months has been put in the playpen after destroying the lounge whilst I have a coffee in peace and avoid my ironing pile that needs tackling.

All still in pyjamas here. Kids are watching Beauty & the Beast and DH and I are on our phones. Need to go out and do supermarket shop soon...

Oh lovely what are you going to paint it white or have you a scheme in mind (I love decorating).

Dh is asleep and dc quiet so I have the feet up mumsnetting and watching sky news. I am cooking a roast and also batch cooking. Later on I have to do some paperwork. Also need to buy fresh salad and bread.

Another small job is the Christmas decorations and placed in a spare room so need to get them into the attic. Wont take long but it's a job I hate.

Husband in the kitchen making breakfast complaining about his bad back and man United. I'm on my period and everything he's doing is annoying me 😂

I have a spotless house, DP is doing work expenses and DD is doing her under 5’s Creche duty at church.
I have just had a lovely soak in the bath and getting dressed.
Will make nice coffee in a minute with shortbread from Christmas.
Lunch at 3pm is Gammon, roasties, a selection of veg and Yorkshire puddings. I’m also going to do a pannetore bread and butter pudding for later.
I have the period from hell so there will be lots of slobbing on the sofa.

DS1s birthday (9!) so opening presents and building Lego

We are eating breakfast, later than usual cos I couldn't be arsed to get out of bed. DP got up emptied dishwasher (good I hate doing that) he has also fixed the tumble dryer and put a load of washing on. Bless him. I should stay in bed more often 😂

I’m about to get in the shower, DH has had a lie in and now he’s up so he’s watching The Tiger Who Came To Tea with DS(2.5). After a shower it’s a quick walk to the park and then we’re going out for lunch with both DGPs.

DS1 is reading to DH (homework). DS2 is looking at a Thomas book. I am lounging in the bath with coffee. Lazy day much needed here.

DD(6) and DS(3) are playing play dough. They’ve just had a tearful shouting match over who is the most tired- we had friends over last night and they really enjoyed it but not much sleep was had!

DH is showering although why I don’t know as he’s about to go and do various grubby jobs.

I’m going to go and make another coffee in preparation for a day of refereeing two exhausted children. We’ll be watching films and chilling out today I think!

DD and DS2 are chilling out. DH has taken DS1 to play football. I'm about to start cooking a roast lunch.

I'm back in bed after lettings dogs out/feeding rabbits/emptying dishwasher. My son is at work and my daughter still asleep. My tummy is growling may have to shift myself soon! Tesco arriving at 1 will have to be presentable for that.

DP is having a nap. DS is sitting on the sofa next to me watching some nursery rhyme videos on TV whilst I have a coffee and go on MN. It's a nice, quiet morning.

Me: 39 + 1, beaches whale, head cold, finding everything fucking irritating.

Spouse: Wrapping a child’s birthday present and playing his mobile phone game

DS1: trying to make a birthday card for pre school friend and making a hash of it.

Ddog: Barking at the underside of the sofa to retrieve her chew toy which none of us are bothered to get out for her.

Going for a South Indian lunch out soon (she says whilst still in PJs moaning lack of appearance of DC2)

Oh is just making sausage and egg sandwiches. Ds2 and I watching the minions. Going to do some tidying and get ready before an afternoon at the in laws (sob)

i have a hangover. Friends stayed over last night. We’ve just had a nice fry up. Children have gone back upstairs to carry on with their board game and we’re chilling with a nice cuppa before getting organised to go out for a lovely roast dinner later.

Just got home from swimming, we don't go often, so made a nice change.
Dc3 is going to have a nap in a min, Dc1 and 2 are on devices. we will have lunch in a bit.
It's a gorgeous day, albeit cold, so going to put in my new primroses later and then back inside to make a cherry crumble to have after our toad in the Hole later.

I'm in Aus so it's nighttime - kid and DH in bed. Me - up late, drinking an Amaretto sour, watching 'Below Deck' (actually not watching on in background), delaying bedtime because I dread going to work tomorrow. This is bad, I know...
