Hi not sure if I'm over reacting, I have a DD who is a very active 20 month old , currently pregnant with our second and have the worst cold I've had in years I feel rubbish, I work 3 days a week . My mother is elderly and unable to help me , my mother in law has her for 3 hours on a Wednesday afternoon however she has cancelled on us the last two weeks as she said she is tired.I understand she has had her kids , our kids our responsibility but when my sister in law was pregnant with their second she bent over backwards to help her , any way so my husband is working this weekend extra to contract and she has just text me to ensure HE rests for the rest of the day , he should do nothing this made me flip I'm looking after our toddler on my own for 13 hours a day ( husband works 12 hour shifts) , cleaning the house , working part time, making sure everybody is fed , making sure hes got clean clothes for work! and still suffering from morning sickness and now this rotten cold which I cannot really take anything for .Really I'm asking am I right to be so infuriated or is it the hormones!?

Probably hormones. Lots of people in your situation. You just have to battle on

It just sounds like a particularly shit time for you, but I don't blame your MIl or husband. It's just a perfect storm of shit events.

Ignore her. The text was rude and interfering. Obviously you are tired. Get through the day and put her “advice” out of your mind.
