Toddler carriers

I'm going round in circles🙈

Can anyone recommend a toddler carrier suitable for a small side of average nearly 3 year-old? Ideally one that can be folded down and bunged in a backpack?

Ergo 360 as a back carrier.

I second the Tula toddler. It’s ergonomic and so comfy! Lovely patterns too. Can you get to a local sling library to try a few on?

I love the ergo but I've never tried a Tula (and really want to!) So can't comment on that one. But the ergo is great and comfortable and could fit in a backpack.

Connecta is the best for folding up small. I didn't find it supportive enough for a big toddler though. I loved my Lenny Lamb at that stage.

Try a sling library. I’ve had a manduca, ergo 360, little life backpack. All ok. Maybe go and see what suits you?

Try some options from a sling library - I loved the baby connecta but hated it for toddlers, and found the Ergo too padded. I ended up with a Mei tai instead as it was more supportive (because you can cross the straps under the child’s bottom and it pulls less on your shoulders).
