They're tweeting like it's dawn. It's 1am FFS. Why won't they go to sleep?

Birds done this the other night! I even said to my partner why are they doing it at 2:30am 🥴

I know what you mean. I have some birds outside my window regularly after 9pm with a very loud song. Anyway, better than loud drunk students, I guess.

I love listening to the birds on a morning (apart from woodpigeons and what I think are blackbirds telling something off when they're like, "Cheep, cheep, cheep, cheep, cheep, cheep, cheep..." for ages). I can easily sleep through the dawn chorus. It's engines that I hate; when some arsehole sits in their car or van with their engine ticking over for ages first thing on a morning when I'm still trying to sleep I get the rage and feel like running out there, grabbing their keys and throwing them away!

Taking some small comfort in not being alone. I thought I was the only one with insomniac birds!
