Does anyone live near The Gower?

I’m thinking of doing a charity walk there which largely goes along the costal path from Oxwich Bay to St Madoc then back inland. How hilly do you think it is?

The Christian Youth Centre St Madoc? What route are you taking? Over the top of Cefn Bryn? It's not too bad, it's not a particularly hilly region, there are some steep bits out of both Oxwich and Llanmadoc though...

Sorry I totally misread your post! I'm not too familiar with the coastal path around the edge from Oxwich, where are you going to end up?

Back near Oxwich bay. It comes back across country after St Madoc.

As I say OP, it depends entirely on your route. If you're taking the route I think you'll take, there is a very steep hill back out of Llanmadoc, and all roads lead up out of Oxwich at quite the trajectory but I don't know what the coastal path is like.

I've walked bits of this and its fairly easy going - just look out for the free range ponies!
