Do you have any use for chocolates? After Xmas I have numerous bars of Dairy Milk, boxes of Maltesers, Bags if Cadbury’s children’s chocs etc.

I need them out of the house .

Do you distribute them as treats, or in place if dessert? Or do you not distribute sweets and choc?

All good brands, unopened obviously.

Most food banks give out chocolates or other sweet things like biscuits or jam or chocolate spread yes. They're all different though so you might need to check directly with your local one to be 100% sure...

My parents run one at our church. They are currently overrun with tubs of chocolates etc for the same reasons that you give - people wanting it out if the house. As PP says, best to check

Our local supermarkets work with big banks like Trussell so they have lots of storage and fast turnover. I have dropped them off and added tinned stewing steak, chicken and various veg to balance it out!
