Who would you bet on to win? A wild, adult, male kangaroo or a professional, adult, male boxer?

Kangaroo, no contest. It's not going to fight by the rules!

In a regular ring, the boxer. In a cage, the kangaroo. Since I expect a wild animal to flee if it's hurt, but to be very dangerous if it can't flee.

I love your logic! Grin Although I have seen footage of a kangaroo in a boxing ring against a boxer and he got battered. It was the repeated rough double kick to the torso that got the guy in the end. He couldn''t muster up enough energy to even fight back. The 'Roo, however, looked calm and loving life.

Why the fuck are you watching footage like that? It's animal abuse.

SameOldHorrorStory · 15/01/2020 22:50

@Dobbytheelf I saw it, I’m not “watching it”. And if you’d have seen it, you would know it wasn’t animal abuse, it was human abuse. The kangaroo knocked the boxer out without a single punch landed on it 😂

What a bizarre and gruesome thread.

Dobbytheelf · 15/01/2020 22:57

How can you 'see' it without 'watching' it? If I saw such a thing I'd turn it off, not carry on and 'lol' at it. Putting an animal in a ring to fight is animal abuse whether the boxer hit it or not, why would the kangaroo beat the shit out of a boxer in a ring if it was not forced in to fight? It didn't just stumble across a boxing ring in the wild and decide to get in for a go did it?

SameOldHorrorStory · 15/01/2020 23:39

@Dobbytheelf Because ‘watching’ it implies I seek or sought it out especially to watch, when in fact, a video was presented to me and I saw it.

No, I do not think it is ok. I actually think a normal human (boxer or not) would hold back when faced in that situation because they would think it horrific to strike an animal for the purpose to try and hurt them, I’m a boxing ring, even if the animal was attacking them.

^^typos

In a boxing ring. I’m not a boxing ring.
