Yes, 10 times, absolutely amazing.
They know us there now so we often get wee special touches.
I cannot reccomend it enough.

I've just booked to go again in July, for the first time in a couple of years, (I live two hours away)
It's my birthday present for my friends 40th, we always go together, I've had the birthday noted, also made sure we can have the table For the whole afternoon.
For my 40th I got a card on the table, the Maitre D, asked if there was anything in particular we wanted as part of our tasting menu, we then got invited into the Kitchen to meet Tom himself, and I got a special extra dessert with a candle in.
All of the staff wished me happy birthday, and managed to get the right person, not easy when my friend and I share a name.

Yes, we went last year and it was lovely. Good food, really unpretentious. The baked scallop starter on the a la carte menu is really delicious.

We went for my birthday, delicious.
I got card signed by Tom and a copy of the meal printed out which I now have framed.

My husband had said we were going out for a pizza!

Yes and it is fantastic! Cannot recommend enough.

I have also been to the Bonnie Badger for a meal and overnight and actually met Tom K in the garden. Lovely chap.

There was a segment about it on tv a while back - maybe search YouTube. It was amazing to see how they get their produce so fresh.

IHaveBrilloHair · 16/01/2020 18:25

Unlike many celebrity chefs, he actually cooks in the restaurant every day.

Yes, it's fantastic, brilliant wine list too and so attentive. Went out of their way for someone in our group who had specific needs. Edinburgh is v lucky.

The Scran and Scallie, his pub, is great too.
I took my boyfriend for his birthday a couple of years back, very accessible menu, interesting food, but great classics too and very child friendly.
