Quick straw poll please!

At what age and under what circumstances do you think it is acceptable to start saying that a person 'had a fall' instead of saying they 'fell over'?

I am 52, but disabled! I imagine I would be described as having had a fall if I fell as a result of my disability, rather than a run of the mill trip over Lego kind of thing.

Quite odd for that description for you.

I’m always thinking this!

I think as soon as you become 'old'. Could be 30, could be 80+...

Active, fit people fall over. I intend only ever to fall over!

Thank you - I don't feel quite so bad now!
