Chickydoo, how do you eat yr pomegranate?
I bought one at Christmas but I went all funny and cdn't face peeling it and seeing all the seeds inside, so I threw it in the compost bin cost me £1.40!

I just cut in half and spoon out the seeds with a teaspoon & eat

@ContinuityError, sorry for the irrelevant question, but my DS us asking what your cat's name is. This is very important to him! Lol. Our fruit bowl contains three black bananas. Need to go to the shop to restock the apples,pears, grapes, satsumas, and melon

I am always annoyed that "easy peelers" are clementines (yuk!) and never satsumas (yum!).

We have a fruit bowl but it only ever has avocado in it.
Everything else goes in the fridge. My food hell is a warm apple 😩

We use 2 IKEA wooden crates on the foyer windowsill, plus a repurposed Easter egg hunt basket in the car. Berries go in the fridge, bananas don't last long enough to cause a problem although I do put a fake tomato shaped gas absorber in the baskets.

We always have apples, satsumas (or equivalent), bananas, grapes and a melon or two. Jaffa type oranges, pears, plums, pomegranates, pineapple, persimmon all cycle through regularly.

The car basket has 4 bananas, 4 apples and 4 or 8 small oranges as standard plus whatever we may have grabbed on way out. :)

Oh and black bananas are ideal for making into banana muffins.

Oh dear! Epic fail on the banana front. I didn’t notice all the apples have gone. Shopping today.

Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and grapes in the fridge.

I don’t want bananas hanging on my worktops, they’re too cluttered already, I can’t stand them in the fridge either.

Either your family loves oranges or you keep buying them and no one eats them, like in my house 😂

Bit of a sad sight actually. We do have bananas separately and grapes, strawberries, blueberries raspberries in the fridge, mango and pomegranate in the freezer.

Mine used to be a bowl, it's now and wooden box I had spare and it fits more in. There was a melon, strawberries and a banana in there last night, but when my kids eat melon they want the whole thing 🙄

I can imagine lots of women quickly running out to their kitchen to prep an artistic fruit bowl to post

A stunt cat beats the stunt pineapple
We’ve only got bananas in the fruit bowl. There is a melon in the fridge and some strawberries but they are now sat on top of the cheesecake I made this morning.

@Pyjamaface I like you plate/bowl! Very pretty!

Going shopping tomorrow for lots of lovely fruit and will post a photo of my fruit bowl ( once I've removed all the sweets from it)
