going out my mind

i am literally going out of my mind,
basically i i had a BFP on 02/01/20 and with my risky past history they gave me a scan and hcg level bloods on the 08/01/20 , no answers there, scaner said that there is something in my womb but not big enough for the dates gave i should of been 6 weeks +2 she also said my left ovary is full of bleeding cysts but from the scan they said they cant say its a viable pregnancy and cant rule out eptopic,... but bloods come back and my hcg levels were 670 so they made me an appointment for 48 hours to do repeat bloods, went back down on the 10/01/20 and my hcg levels had doubled to 1500 something so good news,... then,.... 3 days later (yesturday)i had really bad pains and started bleeding at around 2pm rung the early pregnancy unit and they said to wait and see if it gets worse if the pain or bleeding gets worse phone us back so i waited and waited, bleeding eventually stopped 8 hours later, not enough to fill a pad but it slowly slowed down and finally stopped, my partner was still very concerned aswell so we decided to ring and get checked anyways went to the hospital and they done my bloods and internal examination said my cervix was still closed and he said he didnt think it was eptopic because id be jumping off the bed in pain he thinks its just the cysts that are bleeding and can be very painful, so i walked out feeling relieved, then 2 hours later i get a phone call off the doctor saying that my hcg levels are now 3700 and are not doubling as they should and wants me to go back in on thursday to repeat again,.. why cant they just scan me and find out if its ectopic the not knowing is killing me what if my hcg levels go down or dont double again are the going to leave me in the pain any longer? i have been having pains for about 2 weeks and its just getting worse and more offten, the bleeding has stopped but i just dont know what to think, could this pregnancy go well still? please help

Hi - hope your ok.

I think I would insist on an ultrasound. I had a google and some ladies with your hcg levels were given Prometrium to help, perhaps ask your doctor about that. Try not to stress, easier said than done I know.

Thank you for your reply, the pain gets so bad it can wake me up at night and I'd be sat on the toilet in tears sweating and feeling like I'm going to puke for at least 45mins to an hour. I can't take no more but I'll ring them today and try and get some answers thank you x

Hi - how did it go? xx

MummyinNeed94 · 16/01/2020 21:07

I had my bloods done this morning hcg levels went from 3500 to 11,570 so more than tripled in 48 hours. Do you know what this could mean?

I’m sorry I don’t, I’d have to google and I guess you have probably already done that. Who advised the hcg levels had tripled.... could you have asked them what it meant? Or do the results go to a doctor first? Did you mention the pain?

WatcherintheRye · 16/01/2020 22:19

Bumping for you. Flowers

MummyinNeed94 · 16/01/2020 23:30

I did mention the pain but felt as though they palmed me off abit saying it was the cysts bursting and bleeding causing the pain with no real examination. I asked them what it meant when hcg levels triples and they just said I'll get more answers with my next scan. Thank you for bumping x

I’m so sorry your having a rough time. Do you have pcos? Are those the cysts they’re referring to? It sounds painful. I had a work colleague with severe pcos and she did have a baby, she was also in pain.
When is your scan? I hope it’s soon.
Where have you posted this? Is there a fertility section...?
I’m sorry you aren’t getting many replies and I’m not very helpful!😣 there must be more ladies on here that have gone through this.... x

MummyinNeed94 · 17/01/2020 15:07

Hey- @MummyinNeed94 thinking of you & hope all is ok tomorrow x

I sympathise with the worry OP. I had similar with my first. Constant pain on my right side lower abdomen from BFP, doctor fobbed me off. When shoulder pain started to they scanned me at around 6 weeks and couldn’t see a viable pregnancy so warned me to expect ectopic. Bloods did keep doubling though so had a weekly scan. It was 9 weeks before they found heartbeat.

I think with your level of pain I would definitely be insisting on a scan. If you can afford it could you go private if they refuse, although you shouldn’t have to!

MummyinNeed94 · 19/01/2020 20:10

Thank you both.
And I have a scan tomorrow and if no answers will be going private. Even tho the pain comes and goes it's draining me and really getting me down. 13 months ago my womb ruptured at 24 weeks and i suppose I'm just paranoid something is going to go wrong and losing my darling daisy. Her funeral killed me and I am still recovering, this pregnancy wasn't planned but by all means very wanted. Just have to wait till tomorrow morning, one more sleep and hopefully have answers. Will let you know the outcome xx
