HMRC and Lump Sum help please

I'm posting for my sister as she doesn't really do MumsNet.
She's expecting a lump sum from adult dependant pension as her husband passed away and she was entitled to his army pension. She checked her HMRC app and this has come up. Can anyone make any sense of it please? Does the date mean she will receive that payment less tax on the 15th?

I don't think so it is a summary of her taxable income up to the 15th of January not when she receives it. Between processing the tax and issuing the payment can take weeks

I expect she will receive the payment net of tax, yes

As to the date, that looks like the date they are saying she should get it HOWEVER, HMRC systems are notoriously bad so don't rely on it

HMRC don't administer MOD pensions, that is Equiniti. Why would she get a lump sum as opposed to monthly income? Did he die before he was entitled to his pension? If no, then he would already have had his lump sum depending which MOD scheme he was on. Do you know if he was on AFPS75, 05 or the newest variant?
