I’ve got a bit of time on my hands, so I’ve started a few new projects. I’ve worked in events before, but not one of this nature and need some advice please.
I’m trying to organise a large community event for Christmas 2020. The event has been discussed on a community social media page and has received a large amount of support so far. We’re looking at doing an Outdoor Christmas Tree Festival.
The plan is for everyone to do some garden decorations, share photos via social media, and then have trail walks in our ‘village’ (population of 12,000).
Can anyone recommend what insurance might be needed? I’m assuming Public Liability?
Also, any tips of getting this through our local safety advisory group please?
Is anyone else involved in any great community projects that they’d like to share?
