Posting here for traffic! I'm looking for some advice on how best to prepare my 7mo for when I return to work. I go back on the beginning of April, and she'll be staying with her aunt. I'm a teacher, so this will be between 7-4 3 days a week.
At the moment she's ebf; we're trying to get her on the bottle but she's not going for it. Will it be a problem if she's still not going for it in April? Or will she just accept it from someone other than me or dad?
We don't really have a routine at the moment; we did but then Christmas and illness screwed it up and I'm trying to get her back onto it but she just wakes up at random times! I'm thinking we'll have to leave the house at about 6:30 in the mornings to get me to work on time, so what kind of time should I be waking her and putting her to bed? And do I need to start on that routine now?
She currently feeds to sleep. I can rock her to sleep occassionally, but she hates being put down in a crib in the day. She just wakes up and then is wide awake until a couple of hours later. I'm worried she just won't sleep at all when she's round there and will be exhausted by the time I pick her up. How can I get her to sleep in the crib in the day? At night she's fine to be put down in her bed!
I think that's all my questions, any advice for how to start preparing me and her would be great! I'm just getting nervous about it now even though it's 3 months away and worry that I'm not doing enough to make the transition easy enough for her
She's also started to get a bit of separation anxiety whenever I leave the room so that's not helping my worries about leaving her!
