How to update a dated kitchen?

Our kitchen is in serious need of an revamp. It's not offensive but starting to get quite dated. Everything is a Mid wash wood and the tiles are peach, cream and white. (Wouldn't be my first choice personally but each to their own!)

We currently rent so can't make any drastic changes like changing tiles and pain colour etc.

Any tips on how we can give it a bit of an update without making any drastic changes?!

Get yourself to Wilkos, they sell cupboard paint ( about £10 a tin ) and addisive worktop covering about (£5 per roll )
I am not much good with DIY but managed to revamp my dark kitchen completely.
Can you change the draw and door handles ?
Just be aware the paint has a very high VOC.

You can use tile transfers to cover the existing tiles then peel them off when you move. Change any handles
