Hive or Nest?

Which is best? And why? Can't decide between them. I don't want something which is going to randomly decide to turn the heating on in the middle of the night.

Neither. My husband is an installer and avoids both in favour of Honeywell Evohome

We have had Nest for about two years. It's been very much install it and leave it. I just set the temp schedule and it's taken care of the heating ever since.

It's been no hassle at all.

We have the Nest and love it.

I got Hive the other week. Easy to use. Synched easily with Alexa.

Honeywell Evohome is brilliant. I've made significant savings on my gas bill since I've had it and its great having each room at the right temperature , not one temperature for the whole house.

Does Nest not allow you to set rooms at different temperatures?

We've had Evohome for two years. Absolutely faultless. Individual room control for heat & times. Easy control from your phone if needed. Frightens some plumbers though so make sure you get a specialist although we did ours ourselves.
