My DP is 30 later this year and I'm trying to gather some ideas of what to do for it (surprise) I'm thinking maybe a long weekend somewhere nice but money is a little tight this year as we are planning to buy a house (as soon as one comes available that we both like) and we already have a summer holiday booked in June. We were planning to book another summer holiday but I think realistically we need to keep as much money as possible for house. So I'd like to start putting some money away into my own savings for it. Does anyone have any suggestions that isn't too expensive but still nice or things that you've done for their birthday? TIA
