Pregnancy 36wks+4 waters broke

36wks plus 5 days pregnant, Currently in hospital waters broke about 12 hours ago no major pains,been put on antibiotics,anyone no when Labour will start,or similar stories

My waters broke at bank on 37 weeks at some point during the night woke up about 6ish thinking I had peed the bed a bit got up to walk to the bathroom and with every step leaked a bit more. Went to hospital was told not having contractions to come back to be induced in 48 hours if nothing happened.

Went home got a nap, woke up in a lot of pain had a bath then went to the hospital. Baby was born 45 min later

Congratulations How is he doing?

25 yrs ago my daughter was born at 34 wks. Waters going were the first sign. She was born 6 hrs later weighing 5lb 5oz and is now a fit healthy adult.
At 36 weeks they get the sucking reflex so you shouldn’t have trouble feeding. My daughter was tube fed for over a week until she learned to suck and was then breastfed.

My waters broke at 34 weeks with my son, nothing other than a few back pains for a few days and had to be induced. My 2nd waters leaked at 35 weeks but had tightenings i got into full contractions by walking, walking and more walking and when i stopped i glued myself to the birth ball and had her within 3 hours! Keep moving is my best advice! Good luck!

Hope you're both doing well. Dd did two days in a hot cot having her blood sugar measured. We were let out after four but went straight back as she went a bit yellow again. All was well though.

Some of my waters broke 39+3, nothing happened that day so was induced the day and she was born in the early hours of 39+5.

I never realised how much water could actually come out when they break it was never ending lol x

He has been weighed today and he is back to birth weight ,xx
