Fitbit for an alarm

I am thinking if I had one, I could use it as an alarm, but I don't normally take my phone to bed, could I still use it if my phone was downstairs?

Yes, I do this.

nachthexe · 11/01/2020 21:50

Yep. It’s great.

I used to wear mine and it vibrated rather than made an alarm. No need for the phone to be near it.

Yes - you can set the alarm on the fitbit once you've set the time for it on the app and synced your fitbit to it. You can have 8 alarms set at any one time. I much prefer being woken by a vibration on my wrist than by an alarm at 7am!

Dazedandconfused10 · 11/01/2020 21:50

Yeah it will still work. I don't trust mine though. I need the equivalent of a fog horn to make sure I wake up. The buzz is too gentle.

Ceramique · 11/01/2020 21:51

I sleep through mine!

Fizzypoo · 11/01/2020 21:52

Yes, I'm not sure about other Fitbit but the versa 2 can wake you up near to your alarm time when your in a light sleep cycle. It works for me and I sleep like the dead.

RhinestoneCowgirl · 11/01/2020 21:53

Mine is a Huawei rather than Fitbit, but works the same way. The buzz wakes me up fine.

Yay beeping alarms startle me too much, I was hoping this would be the answer. Grin
