Not my fault, but my little girl's... How do I clean it?

Try eucalyptus oil, marvellous stuff! It gets mascara off

Baby wipe.

But wouldn't oil give the carpet oily stains?

I'll try baby wipes, although I imagine the stains need something stronger.

Washing up liquid, it'll break down the grease

Miceller water. Saturate stain area only, leave for a minute then dab with clean dry flannel or towel until removed. Do not rub.

Swarfega, removes oily stuff really well

Quick update: I've used baby wipes for now and I'm amazed at how much better the stains look! They're still visible but only just - amazing! Thanks for the suggestion.
