How do I fix this waterproof jacket?

6yo DD chews clothes (whole other thread there!) and has destroyed the sleeve on her waterproof jacket. I'm not handy with this sort of stuff but don't want to replace the jacket as it seems like a massive waste. It'll see her through the rest if winter size-wise. If I patch it, what do it use? Is there a quick/cheat way (I'm handier with a glue gun than I am with a needle & thread!)

You can buy iron on gore tex patches. Or iron on spinnaker tape (for sails) works well too.
I’m cheap and tend to just fix waterproof/downjacket holes with duck tape 😀

I would be tempted to use gaffa tape as it is only a small patch. Stretch the cuff, stick the tape on and then heat it up with a hair dryer for a minute or 2 to bond it to the fabric a bit. It is how I mend my down sleeping bags.

I'd be half tempted to stitch a completely separate piece of fabric over the top. But I'd do both sleeves so that it looks like it is meant to be there.

Tenacious tape. Ive used it to repair holes in my tent.

Buy patch to match from eBay or similar. I’ve bought patches from the equestrian section to patch the horse’s rugs. Glue on. Nikwax (it’s a product) spray the seams/entire thing to re-waterproof.
