Ankle Support

Can anyone recommend a good ankle support that isn't bulky? I've got a ganglion cyst on my ankle and because of where it is my foot and ankle ache when I've been walking or standing for too long.

Thanks

I use this tape , it gives support without getting in the way or rolling over ( like tube grip stuff does ) .
It takes practise getting it on right and it is easier if someone else can do it for you . there are lots of you tube videos on how to apply it but the most important bit is to remember not to stretch the 1st and last bit ( watch a video for that sentence to make sense Grin )
It can be got wet in a quick shower or leg dangling over the edge of the bath kind of way and will generally stay in place for 5 / 7 days.

I sometimes put double layers on ( wrecked my tendon years ago )

Thank you, I'll give it a try. It's generally ok but gets painful after a while. I don't fancy surgery (and it's not bad enough yet) so hopefully this will help!

Be careful it is not a 'fix' ( so no running marathons Grin ) but it does help me when my ankle is aching

No chance of running a marathon here! I'm thinking more of a session at the gym and walking around Cornwall in a few months!
