I need some advice please. I decided to have a baby shower but make it so my dad, partner, dad in law and my uncles to come so family’s could meet and they have helped us a lot well me.
So my sister and I planned the shower and sent out invites. My SIL replied saying are kids invited because I can’t get a sitter so they need to come. Not what I ideally wanted as I just wanted it to be adults. So now my partner wants his son to come and said his counts can’t come and not him it’s not fair and that’s it not about what I want. So I accepted that even though it’s one day where it can just be about me. I today find out the partners had a conversation with his sister before she text me. Talking about how they can make a plan to get the kids to come so he could get his son to come. She even screenshotted the message she sent me to him saying I’ve sent this. The kids are now coming I’ve told her and now you’re son is so you’re welcome. But don’t tell her about this.
Is it me or is this really weird!? I honestly don’t know what to do. I want to cancel the shower because of what they’ve done I’m just so annoyed because it’s not about her it’s and because she didn’t get what she wanted she’s done that I also can’t talk to my partner because I’m so mad at him.
