Can I just refuse late parcels from Hermes?

I have a first date tonight so I ordered a couple of tops but they were too big so last night I ordered a few different options from different shops and payed next day delivery. All the shops have used Hermes and this afternoon Hermes have emailed to say they won't be delivering my parcels today.

I'm really fed up, it happens constantly with them! If I'm not getting the clothes today I have no use for them and am annoyed that I'll have to open them all, change the labels and return them myself when it's their fault I didn't get them in time. So when they eventually arrive can I just tell the driver I'm not accepting them as they were late? And have them return to sender?

I wouldn't usually be so angry about it and understand these things sometimes happen but it's happened so often with them recently that I'm just totally fed up!

Thanks in advance!

Try! I'd be interested to see what happens. Sometimes I think they'd be better just posting them.

I had Hermes leave a ticket to tell me to collect my item from a newsagent collection point 2 kilometres away. It took ages googling to even figure out who to ring to complain.

Good luck

@TheYearOfTheDog I'll give it a go and let you know wha happens. They're such an awful company. I'm so annoyed, I had my outfit all planned out in my head Sad

Focus on hair and makeup and earrings!

Good luck, hope it goes well!
