If so would your recommend it? If not why not? Trying to decide on a driveway material for a new build Smile

Neighbours of mine had one done. It is wearing well. However the original surface was too smooth, especially when wet and they had to come back and rough it up a bit.

My neighbours and I share a (massive) drive and recently considered a resin drive. Went for tarmac in the end because it was about a third of the cost and also because the inconvenience during laying would be much less. We'd have had to park elsewhere, carry shopping etc for over a week with a resin drive. Doesn't sound like you'll necessarily need to consider the seco d bit for a new build.
