Billingham Ice Rink - anywhere to eat around there?

Coming up and wondered best places to grab food...anything really.

Plus where to park near rink?

There's two cafes on site and a decent fish and chip cafe/restaurant up the windy ramp thing - I think it's called Barnacles but it's been a while since I've been to Billingham. That's where we always used to go when we went skating.

The forum has it's own car park and there's always space to park.

Travel along to Seaton Carew. Amazing fish and chip shop on the sea front!! 15 Mins away max.

There is a fantastic family run Italian restaurant called La Porto (billingham) they also have a restaurant in Norton. Highly recommend. It’s near the Costa.
Barnacles is no more.

Barnacles is no more - that's sad. I always liked it there. It wasn't brilliant food but it was more than edible and cheap and the staff were always nice.

If you're driving I'd follow a PP's advise and head to Seaton/Hartlepool. The Almighty Cod gets good reviews and if fish and chips don't float your boat there are a few Indians along there too plus ice-cream places and you could (if you're brave enough to face the wind and cold) finish up your day with a walk along the beach.

Parking Ive been told the rink doesnt have a car park

There is a car park at the forum. There's a weatherspoons now but I'd also head out of town as suggested above.

We went Xmas eve and car park was def still there!!
