Hi..
I have a feeling people are going to think I'm being far too worried (hopefully) but it helps to have reassurance. I am 20 weeks pregnant and my fiance heated up a tin of beans and sausages.. as I was eating them I noticed the sausages didn't seem piping hot and am now worried about bacteria, food poisoning. Am I just being irrational? Thank you in advance for advice. I suffer very badly with anxiety Confused

As a one off it should be ok, but I'd keep an eye on how you're feeling/ symptoms etc. Is it your first baby?

If the tin had just been opened (I.e. it hasn’t been sat round open in your fridge for a few weeks) you’ll be fine. It will have been at 121 degrees C for 3 minutes in the factory. Ain’t nothing surviving that!

I ate beans and sausages cold straight out of the tin when I was pregnant..it's processed so I never gave it a second thought!

Sausages from the tin? Don't worry, they are already processed & cooked.
