Traffic light help

Are these traffic light sensors ? If so what are there purpose? I ran a red light around 6am road were clear , stupid mistake wont happen again.

I assume youre worried about getting a ticket in which case I think you're fine. They are sensors but used to detect traffic waiting at the lights not cars going through on red.
